Parker is ready for his forever home! Up-to-date vaccinations, dewormed, neutered and microchipped. Shortly after coming into rescue we noticed he was limping. An xray showed he had a broken femoral head (hip). He underwent FHO - Femoral Head Osteotomy and has been healing great. FHO leaves the leg slightly shorter but it's hardly noticeable and trust us when we say...It doesn't bother him one bit! Parkers vet has cleared him for adoption. He has no restictions. He uses this leg a lot of the time but also chooses not to. This is normal; it can take even up to a year for him to consistently use it. There are some exercises (range of motion) that his adopter can continue with. Parker is one busy little guy but also enjoys "tv time" with his people. He is playful and loves a good chew toy.
