Chara is smart, a bit of a rebel, loves to play, and snuggle. She does have a more independent streak, but still needs reassurance with new situations. She is currently kenneled with a pen all day while we are at work. She also sleeps in there at night. While very good at going potty when we get up right away in the morning, she does need to be watched or she will still potty inside. She goes about every hour when she is awake. She uses a puppy pad and loves to chew on toys and puppy chews. She is used to kids, small and large dogs, and cats. She is active and will need walks or exercise and play regularly due to her energy level. As a puppy she has responded well to routines, training with treats and praise, and lots of love and snuggles. She would be a great addition to any home. Just remember she will need much more attention given to training. We think she will be no more than 20 pounds. To the best of our knowledge she is a dachshund/chihuhua mix. She is a small breed dog.
