Cane is smart, loves to snuggle, kiss, and is just a little butter ball. He still needs reassurance with new situations or when his sister is picking on him. He comes and sits on my feet. He is more like a Dachshund and does like to dig and chew with strong front legs and paws. Cane is currently kenneled with a pen all day while we are at work. He also sleeps in there at night. While very good at going potty when we get up right away in the morning, he does need to be watched or he will still potty inside. He goes about every hour when he is awake. Cane uses a puppy pad and loves to chew on toys and puppy chews. He is used to kids, small and large dogs, and cats. He is active and will need walks or exercise and play regularly due to her energy level. As a puppy he has responded well to routines, training with treats and praise, and lots of love and snuggles. He would be a great addition to any home. Just remember he will need much more attention given to training.
