This is REMY! Poor Remy is just a youngster, but was picked up as a stray with no trust in us humans (and who can blame him for that?). The pound, being the scary place that it is, made Remy feel so afraid that he ended up on the euthanasia list - his life had barely begun! We were fortunate enough to find him just in the nick of time, and he is in a foster home until he is adopted. Could you be his forever family? Remy is a perfect blend of Jack Russell smarts and Chihuahua homebody. He has had a rough past, but has quickly blossomed with a little love and kindness. He is kennel-trained and sleeps all night in his kennel, is housebroken (a dog door would be great!), and he gets along magnificently with all of his doggie companions. Remy loves water! He will splash around for hours in a pool or tub. He knows "sit," "kennel," "toy" and "outside," and we are working on other commands as he is a quick learner and loves the attention. Once he knows you, he will fetch his toys to play and give you lots of kisses. Remy will need a human with a gentle touch rather than scolding. Positive reinforcement has worked wonderfully on this smart boy. Remy is neutered, vaccinated, and will be available to a loving, forever home that understands he's had a rough start in life and will allow him to blossom in his own time. He is a beautiful boy that is past the puppy stage and is well-behaved inside and out. His adoption fee is $51 and includes his registration. He can be microchipped for an additional $25.
