Important Note: Addie is going to require daily brushing and regular grooming to keep her coat clean and to prevent painful mats. Please be sure you are willing and able to commit to the grooming Addie requires prior to filling out an adoption application for her. Thank you.
Meet Addie! Addie is a female, black, small-breed mix puppy that is approximately 4.5 months old. She weighs 7 lbs now and still has some growing to do.
Addie has a beautiful disposition. She is calm, gentle and gets along well with the other small dogs in her foster home. Addie rarely barks, except at meal time! When she sees you reaching for her kibble she just can’t contain her enthusiasm I guess!
Addie is a serious cuddler! This sweet puppy is going to want to snuggle on your lap when you are awake and curl up beside you in bed when you go to sleep. (If you have a pet that isn’t going to want share lap time with the ‘new girl’ then Addie probably isn’t the right choice for your family.) Addie is a smart, capable puppy and this tiny girl is food motivated so she will do well with treat based training in her new home. Addie has gained some weight while in her foster home but she is still small and rather fragile. Addie’s person is going to need to keep a watchful eye on her environment to insure she stays safe and protected. Addie is not a good fit for a home with young children.
Addie likes to play fetch and her favorite toy is her chew toy. Addie is doing well with potty training and she will need her human(s) to keep working with her on that. Addie follows her person around very closely and can occasionally get underfoot. If you think you may be the forever family Addie is searching for please submit a dog adoption application by clicking on this link: https://www.animalrescuefriends.org/dog-adoption-application.html
Addie is spayed, had her Rabies, Bordetella and DA2PP/DHPP (Parvo) vaccines and comes with a lifetime registration microchip. Addie’s adoption fee is $400.
If you expect to leave the dog alone for long periods of time, please do not consider adopting a puppy. Puppies require (and deserve) a lot of time, attention and companionship.
Thank you for supporting animal rescue!
