Blu is a 1 year old, male, Pomeranian mix.  He has a very soft fawn and white colored coat and he weighs 7.6 lbs. Blu is a very small dog that doesn’t realize he’s a small dog.  He is usually easy going but he has a no problem standing up for himself when it comes to other dogs in the house.

Blu is very smart and picks up quickly on what you want him to do.  Blu is treat oriented and responds very well to positive reinforcement training.  Blu loves to play with toys and with other dogs.  Thus, he’s a good match for a home that has a canine companion for him to play with.   Blu loves all toys, but Nylabone small chew toys and little stuffed toys with a squeaker seem to be his favorite.

This little man is a lover so get ready for some smooches!  I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog that enjoyed a belly rub more than this little fella does and his tummy is so soft I think you’ll happily oblige.  While he loves to kiss and cuddle, Blu is not a lap dog.  He’ll come to you for snuggles often but then he will busy himself playing with his toys, exploring around the house or playing with the other dogs.  Blu also likes to look out the window and admire his reflection.  At night Blu likes to sleep on the bed with his person.  Blu is a loyal companion and he loves people.  He does not do well in a crate and he does not do well when left alone for long periods of time.  Blu is an inside dog.  When you take him outside he is usually back at the door wanting to come back in within a minute or two. 

Blu has been treated for allergies and may require future allergy treatments and/or medication.  When his allergies are bothering him, his eyes get red, watery and itchy.   Due to his very small size, Blu would do best in a home with no children or with older children.  Blu is neutered, up to date on all vaccines and comes with a lifetime registration microchip.  Adopt Blu for $250.
