Meet Cricket!

Cricket is a female, white and tan Chihuahua mix that is approximately 2 years old.  We don’t know what she is mixed with but she is taller than an average Chihuahua.  She weighs approximately 9 lbs.

One of our volunteers was assisting in the capture of a little white lost dog that was seen roaming in an alfalfa field.   After 8 days of trying to catch the dog with sweet talk and treats, Cricket was humanely trapped on January 9th.  Come to find out - she was not the dog that was lost.  We certainly couldn’t leave this sweet girl out in the field so she’s an ARF pup now!  Cricket came out of the crate ready to love and be loved!  She was a little underweight back then and had some hair loss on the tip of her ears from living out in the elements but she looks great now.  No health concerns were noted by the veterinarian.

Cricket gets along fine with other dog, with cats and she loves her humans.  She’s loving life in foster care.  She has learned to play and what it’s like to be carefree, safe and loved.  She is an absolute sweetheart!

Cricket is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines and comes with a lifetime registration microchip.  Cricket’s adoption fee is $180.  If you would like to meet / adopt Cricket please fill out an application on the Animal Rescue Friends website and one of our volunteers will give you a call.
